When I first went to Cambodia with Joel - I came out of the airport and began to cry. It was because of the heat and the smells. It was marvellous. There was just something about it. It was different from anything I had ever experienced before and yet it was almost like going home.
When we returned to Cambodia on a trip with Mom and Dad... I emerged from the airport just ahead of Mom. When I turned around she was in tears. I knew exactly why.
